*Statistics on Arrest Campaigns in the West Bank Since the Ongoing War of Extermination*
– *Total Arrests*: Over 9,600 in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
– *Women*: Over 325 arrests (including those from the 1948 occupied territories and women from Gaza arrested in the West Bank). This statistic does not include women arrested from Gaza.
– *Children*: At least 670 arrests among children.
– *Journalists*: 88 journalists arrested since October 7, with 52 still detained, including 6 female journalists and 15 journalists from Gaza.
– *Administrative Detention Orders*: Over 7,500 since the start of the war, including new and renewal orders, some involving children and women.
*Accompanying Violations and Crimes*:
– *Physical Abuse*: Brutal beatings, threats against detainees and their families.
– *Property Destruction*: Widespread destruction of homes, confiscation of vehicles, money, and gold, and significant damage to infrastructure in refugee camps in Tulkarm, Jenin, and others.
– *Executions*: Field executions, including family members of detainees.
*Additional Context*:
– Arrest campaigns include those arrested from homes, at military checkpoints, those forced to surrender, and those taken hostage.
– At least 18 prisoners have died in Israeli prisons since October 7, with dozens more from Gaza who died in prisons and camps, some unidentified by Israeli authorities.
– *Bodies Held*: Israel is holding the bodies of 16 of these prisoners, part of a total of 27 deceased prisoners whose bodies are still withheld.
– *Gaza Arrests*: Approximately 4,000 Gazans have been arrested, with hundreds released. This includes Gazan workers in the West Bank and those in the West Bank for medical treatment.
*Prison Population as of Early July 2024*:
